Why do we use glass bottles for perfume?

Prevent volatilization:

Because the ingredients in the perfume are essential oils or alcohol, both of these must be packed in glass bottles. If plastic is used to package perfume, the essential oil would corrode the plastic, and the substance of the plastic particles will dissolve into the perfume, and the perfume will taste bad.
